The OPTIQ’s NACS port connects directly to Tesla Superchargers and to non-Tesla stations built to the NACS standard, no dongle needed on the end of the cable. A Dual Level Charge Cord comes standard on every trim, covering a home outlet and public Level 2 charging.

For stations still running older infrastructure, Cadillac keeps a few adapters available as accessories rather than requirements:

  • GM CCS1 DC Adapter, for legacy DC fast-charging stations
  • GM J1772 AC Adapter, for older Level 2 connectors
  • NACS DC Adapter (LPO), for added flexibility with legacy infrastructure

That means the native port is not an either-or choice. Drivers get direct NACS access as the default, with adapters kept in reserve for the rare older station.

At home, onboard AC charging speed depends on trim. Luxury and Sport come with an 11.5 kW onboard charger standard, with a 19.2 kW charger available. Premium Luxury and Premium Sport ship with the 19.2 kW charger standard. The OPTIQ’s 85 kWh battery pairs with either setup for overnight charging.
